Pitcher is a male character competing in Open Source Objects.
Pitcher has extreme anger issues, and is easily set off. No matter what he’s doing, be it running, eating, or even sleeping, he does everything aggressively. He doesn’t hesitate to lash out at people who he considers the least bit annoying. One of the only known ways to calm him is to fill him with some sort of liquid, and then he changes to a more happy-go-lucky personality as if he became a completely different person.
Pitcher is a translucent, brown, plastic container with a ridged surface and large handle.
Episode 1 - "Who the hell recommended Glowing Heart"
Pitcher makes his verbal debut by getting impatient and commanding Inhaler to help him. Inhaler proceeds to lecture him on being approachable, prompting Pitcher to punch through Inhaler's balloons, sending him down and losing any chance of help from Inhaler.
Pitcher is again angered after seeing the success of other contestants. His later attempt to pop is own balloon is interrupted by Blob landing within him, taking out his balloons. Pitcher monologues about being oddly at peace, and his death is prevented when he latches onto Corny's anvil, consequently sending Corny to his death instead. Pitcher brushes off his murder to Tart by attributing it to the natural ways of the universe. Pitcher gains safety through this method.
Episode 2 - "Your Opinion is Invalid"
At the start of the challenge, Pitcher is paired with Microphone. While the challenge progresses, Microphone attempts to get off of Pitcher and be in danger of being eliminated. At first, Pitcher agrees with his idea and calmly waits, but thing's change when Microphone is about to leave. Pitcher realizes that he will be put up for voting if he doesn't act about it.
He swings Microphone around numerous times and set's him back where he was at the start of the challenge. Microphone then questions what happened after his partner went from aggressive to happy-go-lucky in seconds. The pair is safe from elimination.
- During the intro for "Your Opinion is Invalid", Pitcher is seen holding a baseball. This is a reference to the sport baseball, where one of the players pitches the ball to the batter, known as the pitcher. This role has the same name as Pitcher's.
