OSO Novel is a female character competing in Open Source Objects.

Personality

OSO Novel is the novel version of this object show. Anyone who reads her would be spoiled of this show. Other contestants try to read her to find out who wins, so she is often on-guard and is very defensive. She tries to act mean and stuff to make sure this doesn’t happen. Unfortunately, she is very lonely and doesn’t know how to make friends as she feels like everyone is trying to manipulate her into sharing her secrets.

Appearance

Her colors are very similar to Crayon Box’s design. There is also text resembling handwriting on the top saying “OSO”, meaning Open Source Objects, as you can already tell. As you can see, The four crayon co-hosts, Yellow, Green, Red and Blue Crayon are also shown on the novel.

Coverage

Episode 1 - "Who the hell recommended Glowing Heart"

OSO Novel is the first to appear within the episode, where she is seen running through an unnamed city and entering the dome. However, as stated by Holly, she is the thirty-second and final contestant to join. Tart offers to walk to the center with her, but OSO Novel declines and walks alone.

During the challenge, with three balloons tied around her body, OSO Novel is spotted by Penny, Coin, Retainer, and Roulette Wheel. Penny asks for help in getting down safely, and while OSO Novel tries to offer assistance, she is knocked away by Organic Fruit & Grain Bar. OSO Novel doesn't mind, claiming it was a "scripted event", and pops one of her own balloons, allowing her to float down safely.

Episode 2 - "Your Opinion is Invalid"

OSO Novel first appears during the pairing up portion of the episode, waiting for Tart to notice that they would have to pair up with each other. Once Tart finally realizes that OSO Novel is the only one without a partner still, she walks over to her and asks to pair up. Tart tells OSO Novel that she can get on top of her due to her bigger size, but to not step in her cream. She cuts Tart off and climbs on, stepping in it anyways.

During the challenge, Tart runs into Nail Clippers and Black Square, and Tart and Nail Clippers get into an argument. OSO Novel tells Tart to avoid the conflict, but Tart keeps going. Eventually, Nail Clippers orders Black Square to kick Tart, which causes OSO Novel and Tart to fall over and lose, being put up for elimination.
