Coin is a male character competing in Open Source Objects.
Personality[]
Coin can be summed up as “aggressive.” Easily angered and constantly exerting his will on others, he is unafraid to bully and chide at the drop of a hat. He has a lot of determination that often manifests as confidence, but also as stubbornness. Coin despises when others don’t “try as hard as he does.” Even then, he’s quick to flock with those he’s familiar with—particularly, his little sister Penny.
Appearance[]
Coin is a reflective, grey coin, probably a nickel or quarter... no one knows, he is pretty sensitive about it. Don't judge him by his face value.

Episode 1 - "Who the hell recommended Glowing Heart"[]
While Coin is talking with Loren and Cologne, Penny states that Coin dragged her to compete on the show. Coin is also dismissive of the dome setting. In the challenge, Coin speaks alongside Retainer when voicing both frustration with Roulette Wheel and concern for winning the challenge. Coin points out Organic Fruit & Grain Bar's arms, but fails to get any help.
Coin struggles throughout most of the challenge. He argues with Roulette Wheel's, Incense Holder's, and Penny's defeatism. Coin also argues with Retainer in the background. However, Coin is safely sent down after White Dango bites through two of his three balloons.
Episode 2 - "Your Opinion is Invalid"[]
After being ditched by Cologne, Coin searches for Penny so they can team up for the challenge. Before he can find her, Organic Fruit & Grain Bar picks up Coin and carries him away. Coin yells at him that he does not want to be his partner, but Organic Fruit & Grain Bar ignores him and continues to hold on to him.
During the challenge, a ball is launched at the pair, but Organic Fruit & Grain Bar blocks the ball by using Coin as a shield. Coin is safe as the two do not fall.
Episode 3 - "The Good, The Bad, and The ********"[]
Coin is placed on Yellow Crayon's team for this challenge. Coin is seen nudging Penny to gawk at ******** taking the lead on Blue Crayon's team. When Yellow Crayon tries to look up what kinds of shows Crayon Box likes, Coin impatiently interjects that she likes reality shows. During the play's production, after Server gets killed by a falling floodlight, Coin celebrates with Roulette Wheel that the team now has a chance of winning, with the superstition being broken.
During the team's play, Coin plays the brother of Penny's character. While the judges had some criticisms, the play is ultimately well received enough to keep the team safe.
Episode 4 - "The Butterfly Effect"[]
While attempting to buy a soda from the vending machine, Roulette Wheel approaches Coin with a proposal to join his Freedom Under Roulette initiative. Coin dismisses this as a scam for idiots, and refuses.
During the challenge, Coin works with Penny, but seems to struggle with actually touching the butterflies. Penny realizes Coin is scared of bugs, and begins to tease him. When Penny eventually manages to catch some butterflies, she rubs them in Coin's face, angering him and making him swat them out of her grasp. The two exchange harsh words and split up.
Coin continues to be unable to come even touch a butterfly, and ends up lying in the grass defeated. Organic Fruit and Gain Bar approaches him and gives him a flower, which Coin ungratefully kicks away. Coin then notices Penny watching from a distance, and reluctantly sits with her. Penny hands Coin a can of his favorite soda and apologizes for how she treated him. Coin is cheered up and, despite not completing the challenge and being up for elimination, vows to keep his "heads held high".

During the challenge, Coin goes up to the vending machine to get a soda. After to drop the soda in shock after being interrupted by Corny who pops out of the vending machine and gets zapped. Eventually, he is chosen by Organic Fruit And Grain Bar to be safe from Elimination.
